What Time Is Now

Poem

Time runs around the clock
In a circle
It never runs out
Starts anew at
Midnight each day
But as we grow
We have less and less
The more we do
The faster it passes
The minute you get bored
It drags and slows
No time
For wasters
It floods empty spaces
Emotional creeks
Time lets wounds rearrange pain
You earn it
Respect when you do less
Give in to the frame
Because when you believe less
Gives more
Time won’t work if you keep track
It gets lost when you preach
Forget your place
In the line
